GIRD in association with Delhi Technological University's Department of Environment would organize a National Workshop on Environment and Energy Action Plan for India: Charting a Path of Community Participation on 19 December 2009 in Delhi 

We invite Papers for presentation in the Workshop on the following themes: 

1.  Assessment of environmental laws, policies and programmes in the background of current state of economic and technological development. 

2.  Involving communities in micro level clean and sustainable energy generation 

3.  Community education and safe socio-cultural practices for energy sustainability and resource conservation 

Paper are also welcome on other themes relevant to the subject of the workshop. Please read Background Note.
